Head Chef Responsibilities

  • Develop Kitchen goals and implement concepts to align with the restaurant's objectives.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators for the Kitchen, taking necessary actions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage the Kitchen budget efficiently, optimizing spending for cost-effective operations.
  • Establish and revise standards for operational procedures, ensuring a high level of culinary excellence.
  • Supervise and lead the kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to the restaurant's policies and standards.
  • Maintain a strong focus on food quality, troubleshoot specific culinary issues, and oversee the quality control process.
  • Introduce new dishes and culinary innovations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Forecast staffing, training, and equipment needs for the Kitchen.
  • Coordinate with other department managers to ensure overall restaurant performance.
  • Resolve kitchen-related challenges and assist staff in problem-solving.


Experience

 

Previous experience in a chef or kitchen supervisory position required. Familiarity with diverse cuisines and culinary trends is a plus. Strong experience in menu planning and kitchen management required. Knowledge of inventory systems and kitchen software is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a passion for culinary arts are required.


Education

 

Minimum culinary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsible for the overall management of the Assembly Production Unit, including staffing, production planning, department budget and SYNCHRO activities.


Head of Machine Assembly Responsibility

 

  • Plan and review production schedule based on forecast and take necessary actions to meet production schedule.
  • Develop Department Goals and concepts to support these Goals in line with TUS and TRUMPF Group Goals.
  • Develop, monitor and report key figures (key performance indicators) for the Department, communicate results to team and senior management and implement necessary actions to insure satisfactory performance.
  • Develop budget and monitor spendings for most cost efficient operation.
  • Develop or revise standards and programs for operational procedures, organizational structure and working practices.
  • Supervise all staff in Assembly in accordance to TRUMPF’s policies.
  • Oversee the integrated quality control process: quality of end products, and troubleshooting of specific quality problems.
  • Introduce design changes and new products.
  • Forecast needs for the Department regarding staffing, training and equipment.
  • Process required administrative information as designated by the Director of Manufacturing.
  • Plan all Assembly related SYNCHRO required actions.
  • Interface with other Department Managers to ensure overall TRUMPF Inc. performance.
  • Resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.


Experience

 

Previous experience in a manufacturing supervisory position required. Familiarity with TRUMPF products a plus. Strong experience in project management and SYNCHRO required. Knowledge of SAP or any other MRP system a plus. Strong communication skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.


Education

 

Minimum 4-year technical degree or the suitable combination of education and work experience
